One morning in Maine

Maine. The way life should be. The day was a bit overcast, and the younger ones are always a little difficult to capture. My favorite part of these shots however, is the contrast between their concentration and excitement... forever reminding me of that always special, One Morning in Maine...

The project

Ahhh...the life of a boat builder. As I begin to track the steps of building a Herreshoff I realize the heart, dedication and beauty involved in creating such a work of art.
